Nipple Covers or Pasties emerged in burlesque and striptease in the 1920s as a way to avoid breaking the law by performing topless or nude. Pasties came to be regarded by some as more aesthetic and erotic. And in parts of the United States, erotic dancers wear pasties in strip clubs to avoid prosecution under local public indecency laws. In extreme cases, liquid latex pasties are used to comply with local laws, raising criticism by strippers that lawmakers are engaging in cruelty by requiring use of adhesive material on the nipple. Pasties are worn by many neo-burlesque performers and are also found in night clubs, fetish parties and parades, such as pride parades.
Now nipple covers are worn by different women all over the world. And they come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes, typically not much larger than the areola. Most high quality pasties are made of hypoallergenic silicone and use special adhesives to reduce the chances of an allergic reaction.
Before every trying nipple covers on, make sure your breast and nipple are clean and dry.
Now that you’ve prepped, peel off the plastic attached to the nipple covers and keep it clean for later use. Place your nipple cover beneath your nipple area, then gently pull upward and seal all edges. Make sure that no air is trapped inside and then, press on firmly to warm for 10 seconds. And if you develop a skin rash or any irritation for the first few hours of use, do not continue wearing it!
Once you’re done wearing these nipple covers, rinse them with lukewarm water or a tiny amount of mild soap to avoid any chemical damage.
Then, gently rub the back of the nipple cover with your fingertips. Doing this helps get rid of any unwanted remnants or dirt. Then, shake off excess moisture and let it air dry in a dust-free environment for a few minutes. Finally, stick the nipple cover back to its protective film and return to its container box.
